mom, Summer, and I decided to go to the zoo yesterday, we had alot of fun..the weather was perfect all the animals were out and enjoying the sunshine.......its about time that 70 degree weather hits us..we have been lovin every min of it..

Easter around here was busy as usual, easter egg hunt here, church, gmas house, Aunt # 1's house and then Aunt #2' s house......always a good time when your w/ family...After going to over 5 egg hunts, Summers a pro!

for those of you who dont know Wendy..like my father in law who often pops my blog...shes very well known in the scrapbooking industry. She goes around the world teaching ( teaches w/ Tim Holtz) and she has her own line of stamps out....very cool...

base used in my frame

this is my leftover chipboard ( i just used this instead of a craft mat..cheaper)from the class Wendy taught and she suggested that I use it for something, so thats the base of my "make art" frame.

It was a last min. thing to take Wendy Vecchis maya road mini book class this weekend at Scrapaganza ...check her blog out here..http://studio490art.blogspot.com

This was the 2nd scrapbooking class I have ever took ( I just perfer to make my own things) but I wouldnt call it scrapbooking, it was more like making art. I LOVED it and learned so much about grunge paper and stamping....I was so inspired to make ART that I made the altered picture frame w/ my leftover scraps......both of these peices are displayed in my scrap room and every time i look at them my heart smiles..guess thats what arts all about ;)
