minus 1 dog..




Summer after school, she was so happy that she got to be leader today....shes been wating since the first say of school...today was her day, she was all smiles when I picked her up. She got to help hold the flag, pass out napkins and lead all the kids outside for pick up ( wish I had my camera for that she was very proud and leading the way w/ all the other kids following).

The inlaws house w/ out the inlaws

so this wk is going to be interesting, we meaning ( james, summer, i, and our 2 dogs) have packed our suitcases and are staying at my in laws for 1 wk, while they are on there cruise.

Did i mention they have 3 dogs....so that makes 3 yorkies ( all whom think they rule the roost) and 2 labs, all under the same roof...going to be interesting.

on a brighter note at least we can use the hot tub and heated pool this wk and my mother in law has stocked the fridge full and has even bought my fav beer...bud light lime :) thanks beth!!

and the bett bike path is outside there door so at least I can walk these crazy dogs...but how am I going to walk all of them?? Maybe Ill just walk my lab..shes the one that needs to loose some of her 80+ lbs..

One thing after another

Ok so why is it that after we decided to put NEW carpet in the basement, and move my scrap room to the basement that it has to rain all freakin weekend and then our walls decide to leak out water..wtf...just our luck.

Luckily it didnt ruin any thing ....except now I have a huge hole in my wall....luckily my Hubby is a drywaller and can fix that.....but its like pulling teeth to get him to fix things around here..lol

Ill post pics when we get the mess picked up and we get our HOBBY basement together

we decided that all of us will have an area designated for our hobbys so we can all hang out together......hope Im not going to regret this decision after Ive moved all my stuff from my solo room upstairs????

time will tell......oh and yes my walls are camouflage......and there are deer heads down here..and all kinds of boy stuff ( god I hope Im not going to regret this) but I guess thats what u get when your married to a die hard hunter....

Now that I have to drive Summer into Bett for school they suck even more.......but of course shes worth it :)

Off to School

My baby started preschool today..how can that be already, time flys.

She was sooo excited









Check out the tote bag I decorated for her.. Since I couldn't find any "kids" tote bags ( there not allowed to have bookbags) I used a bunch of iron ons, and I even used some Hedi Swap BLING ....lol whatever works right :)

Good News

Good news to report...
we just closed on some land in Leclaire last week....
looks like were going to be building our dream home there...in a few yrs that is :)

this weekend was eventful as always... went to the cabin for fri and sat night. My mom and grandparents came out to hang w/ us . I Cherish every min. spent w/ my grandpa these days..hes been thru alot the last couple of yrs and Im so glad that hes still here w/ us...thanks GOd for hearing my prayers :) I got to go fishing w/ him for the first time ( that i can remember) good memories made that Ill always cherish..

Gotta luv the fair

Ok so we are super hicks, James and I both take the week of the fair off. It's one of our favorite things to do. Hanging out w/ friends going to the concerts and of course partying it up at the beer tents....thanks to mom and beth we have had a sitter for most the nights so James and I can let loose....tues night Sugarland rocked, she is soo awesome a great concert. last night Ted Nugent just sucked,what a weirdo and tonight good ol Alan Jackson....going to be another long night. I don't have any pics to post of the fair yet..do that when we take Summer tomorrow and sat.

But to give you something to look at here is some pics from our walk at Devils Glen this am.....well it kinda turned into a photo session :)

Here is Lo that didnt turn out the way I wanted it too but here is a peak ..I used grunge board for the first time,very neat stuff( I just used distressing ink on them).

4th LO

So here is my 4th Lo that I have finally found the time to finish up.. I wanted to use a lot of photos so I just threw them down on my paper to kinda make a photo collage..Im just relived its done, and now I have to file away the rest of my 50+ photos from that day. Once I get that done that will be a load off..

Caming Addicts

Ok first off have to say thanks too Penny for working for me sat..shes the best, thanks girlie I owe ya.

Looks like we have become camping addicts..yeah me camp,I know it's a miracle..really. I don't do bugs,snakes,dirt. I would much rather take a nice hot shower and sleep in a comfy bed. That was about 2 yrs ago..now I can handle all those things ok maybe not the snakes but now I really enjoy camping.

Thanks to James,who is the biggest outdoors person I know..he has convinced me that it's not so bad.

So now James and I have something in common a hobby that we both enjoy doing together and as a family. So thanks baby for bringing me to the other side..you were right it's not so bad,as long as you have a shower, air matress, and bug off...lol


here is some pics of sat at our cabin on the wapsi...he's building the cabin so it's still under construction, so when we go out there we still have to pitch the oll tent..It was a fun day James and I took our cooler full of beer and got the canoe out and went for a short stroll and stopped at the "beach" for a bit. Later that night some friends came out to camp w/ us..good times!

Class date

Hey the only day I'll be teaching this class is Aug. 9th from 2-4. get them 4th pics scrapped! I'm in the process of doing a 4th LO now and still have tons of pics leftover to fill the paper bag book..I just can't put my camera down when it comes to holidays..lol

Paperbag book

Here is the paperbag book I will be teaching at scrapaganza I used the bottle rockets line from Rusty Pickle..too cute.

We jammed pack as much as we could this holiday weekend. Started off thurs going to red,white,and BOOM ,we met James' parents and our friends there. Summer and Will had a blast playing on the jumping things...the fireworks were pretty cool too, we had front row seats.




Then on Fri we went to 2 parades, an ice cream social,went swimming,had BBQ,and headed to Bett to see fireworks again...

Sat night off to Scott co park to go camping..

all and all it was a fun holiday weekend..now I'm off to work post more tomorrow on some of my recent LOs..have a good one!!

My week so far

Life is busy as usual. Sunday we had a birthday party and graduation party to go to, ( always a plus when you don't have to cook dinner). Ill post pics when I can hopefully next week b/c I'm finally going to get DSL, yes I am ditching my old school ways and joining the rest of the world...it's about time so come next week Ill update w/ pics. Monday I was sced. to work but got canceled. So we went swimming at the in laws, its are 3rd or 4th time swimming this yr...that's it we are usually at the pool every other day in the summer. Hopefully the rain is gone for good and the sun is here to stay. Tues night I had to work...blah. Today is whatever goes day, no plans of yet. I can't believe its the 2 of July already, hope everyone has a SUPPER 4th, have fun and be safe..ttyl
